There is a lovely cafe on the Doi River Upstream in the Niyodo Valley. You can sit out and look at the view of the river and mountains. They specialise in tea flavour ‘pudding’ (not the British meaning) but have other sweets too.
They grow their own tea which is supposed to be especially good because of the cleanliness of the river water.
