In Kochi there is a woman who makes bagels a few days a week and sells them from a window of her house. Its really in the middle of nowhere. Just a residential and rice field neighbourhood.
When we got to her house there was already a line of people waiting for her to open.
I think you’re only allowed to buy up to 10 bagels, or she’ll run out.
They come in all different flavours, unfilled, untoasted. I don’t know how Japanese people eat bagels, but I thought they were pretty good.
